(Lubbock, TX – May 2, 2016) ER Centers of America (ERCA), located at 5202 82nd Street,  today announced that it has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.®

ERCA is the first and only free standing emergency medical care facility in Lubbock to earn this award.

With this certification, ERCA joins an elite group of health care organizations focused onexcellence in providing medical care to its patients. ERCA underwent a rigorous onsite review in April 2016, when Joint Commission experts evaluated compliance with strenuous measures of quality of care, infection control, staff training and continuing improvement processes. By achieving this advanced certification, ERCA has thoroughly demonstrated the greatest level of commitment to the care of its patients.
